The Story Behind ALIGN

THIS WORK IS PERSONAL

For years, I lived in a body I was constantly trying to push, shape, and improve. I was in the wellness industry — working out hard, staying disciplined, showing up for others. From the outside, it looked like I had it together. But internally, I was disconnected. I wasn't listening to my body. I was overriding it.

Through a period of deep fatigue and burnout, I was forced to slow down. And in that space, something shifted. I began to approach movement not as something to control my body, but as a way to understand it. I fell in love with Pilates not because of how it made my body look — but because of how it made me feel. It became a space to notice my thoughts, soften my reactions, and build a different relationship with myself. I started to see that this work was about so much more than movement. It was about awareness, regulation, and learning to trust the intelligence of the body. ALIGN body + mind was created from this understanding.

I believe your body is always communicating. I believe strength should support your life — not deplete you. And I believe that when you learn to listen, everything begins to shift — from how you move, to how you think, to how you show up. This work isn't about quick fixes. It's about building a relationship with your body that supports you through every season of life.

I've spent over 15 years in the health and wellness space, with certifications in Pilates, Personal Training, Yoga, Nutrition, and Meditation. But what has shaped my work most is experience — and the understanding that no two bodies are the same. Everything I teach is rooted in awareness, adaptability, and intention. I'm also a wife and mother to two daughters, and this season of life has deepened everything. ALIGN is designed to support real life — not compete with it.
